Wingsuit Flights From Table Mountain To Camps Bay

Johannes Klauser and Mathias Neuherz are Austrian BASE jumpers who recently published a wingsuit flight from Table Mountain to Camps Bay beach. If you live in Cape Town, you'll know these scenes well. Two videos were made, one from their point-of-view and another zoomed in from the top of Table Mountain. Mathias said in his video description, "We had to fly a really high glide ratio to make it to beach. I haven't been so nervous before a jump for a while." They did two other wingsuit jumps off Table Mountain, a sunset flight to Camps Bay and another towards Cape Town.

Gymkhana 2022 With Travis Pastrana in Florida

 

Wow! These Gymkhana videos always amaze, now Travis Pastrana grinds a rail like a skateboard and jumps over a helicopter with his 862 horsepower Subaru Wagon. Speeds up to 165MPH were reached for the jumps. Enjoy 10 minutes of epic driving and the beautiful sound of this Subaru.

Fabio Wibmer's Video Game Film Grand Theft Bike

RedBull's Austrian trials bike rider Fabio Wibmer has just released his latest video, combining amazing bicycle skills and tricks with Grand Theft Auto style gamification. The film took 50 days to shoot and apparently the bunny hop from bench to bench with a tailwhip exit was the hardest trick that took the most attempts. It's thoroughly entertaining and an extremely brilliantly done video.

Flying on Skis - Epic RedBull Speedriding Video

It is highly recommended that you watch this video with headphones or at a time when you can crank the sound, it's not loud music, but rather for the intensity of the action. This one is remarkable, 28 year old Valentin Delluc flies through a French ski resort called Avorias. Grinding the ski lift cables, doing rolls, blackflips, scraping rooftops, pulling the kite through a tunnel, it is just beautiful to watch.

Gymkhana 2020 - Travis Pastrana in a Subaru

If you've enjoyed any of Ken Block's previous gymkhana videos, you'll enjoy this one too. This time instead of the Ford, Travis Pastrana is driving a Subaru WRX STI packing 862hp. The video was recorded in his home town and it's the same brilliant camera angles and action packed driving as always, with some huge and fast jumps. Travis certainly looks a bucket load more tense than Ken while driving, but he did drop a tyre of the edge and drive away. High speed, precision, thumbs up!

Ken Block’s Climbkhana in China

The legend, Ken Block, is back with his gymkhana series, but this time climbing the most dangerous road in China, Tianmen Mountain. Not his usual hatcback, this time he is seated in a 914 horsepower Ford F-150 and although the road is narrow, he still manages to entertain in true Ken Block style.

The Redbull Airforce wingsuit team recently visited the Drakensberg mountain range in Lesothu, South Africa. The video is a documentary style, taking you on the epic journey of their time in SA.

Ducati Panigale V4 Releases and Hits The Track

The new, superbike benchmark setting Ducati Panigale V4 is here! It comes in the V4, V4 S and V4 Speciale. Looking at the Ducati website, it seems the only difference between them is 1kg, a few KWs/HP, colours and price - ranging from R280k, right up to R650k!

Its 1103 cm3 displacement produces a whopping 214 Horse Power (Speciale 226 HP) and is set to be the boss of super sports bikes. Ducati says, "It marks a new and important chapter in Ducati's history, a "symphony"of performance and emotions that's 100% Italian."

Snow Skiing in France

I was extremely fortunate to be invited to snow ski in France in January 2017. I stayed at Chalet Hotel La Foret in Peisey Vallandry with my father and friends at a ski-in, ski-out resort (right on a slop), which was awesome as there was no need to travel to and from the hotel to ski lifts each day. Paradiski has over 425 km's of slopes between Les Arcs, Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne and an extensive network of ski lifts and gondolas which makes getting between valleys a breeze.

The trip was absolutely amazing, sub zero degree temperatures and all. We had good snowfall just before we arrived so the pistes were perfect. I took the GoPro with and managed to rack up over 70 gigs of footage, which was a lot to sift through, so I ended up creating two videos, a summary video (above) and a slightly longer one (below) which has more skiing action on the slopes.

Misverstand Dam Year-End Holiday @ Club Elani

I've been going to Misverstand Dam since I was 7 years old, "paradise close to Cape Town for outdoor and water-sport enthusiasts", as my pops describes it. Our caravan and boat live at Misverstand and we usually camp right next to the water and jetty. I was only there for 3 nights this past December and it was the first time taking my GoPro. Loads of mounting options seen for future.

Misverstand Dam is located off the N7, just past Moorreesburg heading away from Cape Town.

Meerendal MTB Trails

This is my forth mountain biking video made in the Tygerberg area and includes drone footage from my friend Stefan, who got some really cool aerial footage. The trails and flora are particularly awesome this time of year, I'm glad I waited to make the video until now. Whether you like relaxed single trail or fast downhill riding, Meerendal has it all, including a pump-track.

Mad Mike Drifts Franschhoek Pass at 248km/h
