Skydiving in Cape Town

It was finally time to tick skydiving off my bucketlist. The trip includes a 20 minute flight to about 10 000ft, 25-30 second free-fall and then about a 5 minute parachute ride back to ground. I got to pilot the parachute once opened and the whole experience was absolutely incredible. Two GoPro cameras are used so you're able to get both video and photos of your dive, thumbs up Skydive Cape Town.

Table Mountain Cable Car Experience in Cape Town

The Table Mountain cable car is free on your birthday if you're a South African resident. All you need to do is show your ID at the ticket booth and you will be given a return ticket for the cable car. I took the day off work and what better way to spend a mid-week birthday morning than appreciating Cape Town as a tourist. I was very impressed with the hospitality and spirit of the Table Mountain staff.

Buzzbike: Bicycles as Rolling Adverts

Buzzbike gives Londoners a free bicycle if they are prepared to be a rolling advert and ride it 12 times a month and park it securely outside. The bike is built by Cooper (Mini), uses Bluetooth and apps to measure activity, and enable community communication, plus advertisers can specify geographic preferences for promotions. Good for the environment, good for the people riding them = brilliant!

BMW S1000RR Bus Stop Activation in Cape Town

I'm a fan of motorbikes and Cape Town. This is a very clever activation at a bus in Cape Town to showcase the BMW S1000RR, capable of doing 0-100km/h in 3 seconds, "blink and you'll miss it".

Inside Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa

I took my GoPro to work for a week and this is what I captured. A bunch of awesome Saatchi & Saatchi people in both the Cape Town and Joburg offices who love waving and peace signs.

Disclaimer: I'm not a videographer, this is by no means a representation of Saatchi & Saatchi.

Motorbike Ride Around Cape Town

When you're feeling like a lazy Sunday morning, there is no better way to enjoy it than a motorbike ride in the areas surrounding Cape Town to rid the weeks traffic tyre lines. Plus some GoPro testing.

We've gathered some additional footage since this, but will post more once I get more video mounts.

Elgin Cool Wine & Country Food Festival - GoPro

I've been to many wine tasting areas around Cape Town, but had not been to Elgin. We decided that the Elgin Cool Wine & Country Food Festival would be the perfect way to experience it. I've had my GoPro for 3 weeks now and took it along to capture our awesome day wine tasting in Elgin.

We visited: Oak Valley, Belfield, Hannay, Almenkerk, Paul Wallace, Iona and Paul Cluver.

Hoogekraal Mountain Bike Trail Video - Tygerberg

Being into action sports since I can remember: rollerblades, BMX, skateboarding, bodyboarding, all excited me. Since I got back into mountain biking and motorbikes, I decided it's time to invest in a GoPro to capture it all. I bought my GoPro Hero 4 Silver camera a week ago, have been watching tutorials online and this is my very first video edit (with one mount) from today's ride. Thoughts?
